Physical Therapy: Treated Conditions

Abdominals, pelvis & sacro-illiac joint (SIJ) – SIJ Sprain, sublaxation stiffness, hypermobility such as post-partum sportsman hernia, abdominal or groin myositis tendinitis, weakness, dyskinesia, piriforrmis TFL or gluteal myositis tendinitis, pelvic floor insufficiency.

Ankle/Foot – leg pain, Achilles tendon rupture, posterior tibial tendonitis ankle sprain, peroneals strain, plantar fasciitis, sesamoiditis, DJD, symptomatic flat of high arch feet, symptomatic gait deviations, following injuries

Headaches - Headaches, Cervicogenic headaches, Cluster headaches

Hip – Labrum injuries, impingement issues external or internal, weakness and dyskinesia, greater trochanteric bursitis gluteus minimus medius tendonitis

Knee –ACL sprain tear, following an ACL reconstruction, swelling of the knee, torn or degenerated medial or lateral meniscus, arthritis (DJD), instability, patella-femoral maltracking/dyndrome, ITB syndrome, runner’s knee muscle weakness or incoordinations

Lower back – sciatica, muscle strain, disc degeneration, bulge of herniation, spinal stenosis, muscle strain, tension, or dyscoordination, weakness, ligaments or capsular sprain, vertebral sublaxation, postural, sports related and occupational issues

Neck -  stiffness, muscle strain, tension, stress and anxiety, arthritis (DJD), Facet syndrome, degenerative disc disease. Vertebral sublaxation, postural, sports related and occupational issues. Cervical radiculopathy referred pain, numbness and tingling.

Shoulder – shoulder impingement (subacromial or internal), rotator cuff injury tear, tendinosis, tendonitis, shoulder bursitis, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)

Additional Conditions Treated-

·         Pre/post-natal dysfunctions including 3rd trimester lower back pain

·         Traumatic or degenerative musculoskeletal problems: spinal, myofascial or extremity related

·         General and sports-specific (golf, tennis, basketball, rugby) training and conditioning

·         Conservative (non-surgical) management of a variety of orthopedic or sports-related injuries and conditions

·         Rehabilitation following orthopedic surgical problems

·         Impaired function in work or sports
